Unique Structure

Having a porch in Iranian Houses is not a tradition and it is kind of unusual. But this mansion has porches. This is a perfect symmetric mansion although the trees aren’t planted symmetrically.

In front of the mansion, there is a gorgeous pond that makes it scenery and is one of the highlights of Shapouri Mansion. There are different types of trees planted in the garden. Cedar, maple, plane tree, and pomegranate trees with roses and geranium are some to mention.

Shapouri Mansion is a magnificent example of its time. The innovation and creativity of plans and facades perfectly represent the greatness of this Iranian-European-like garden.

Western façade decorations, circular and designed gaseous columns are some of the priceless features of Shapouri Mansion. There is also artistic tiling with Archaemenids designs on the upper porch.

Note that visiting here is free. Remarkably, there is a restaurant, café, and an exhibition center which you can enjoy. The exhibition center is filled with cultural and artworks of Shiraz. The café at Shapouri Mansion is a cozy place to spend some time at. Vakil Bath and Vakil Bazaar are close attractions nearby. Vakil Bath is only 1.4 km away.
