White oil bath

Beautiful Khuzestan is one of those old and valuable provinces that are filled with old and historical buildings. One of these historic monuments is the oil bath, which has a special place in the list of old works of Iran. Kerosene bath is located in a village with the same name in Haftkal city. This village is located 36 km from Haftkal city and 55 km from Ahvaz, a village where, due to its location on the oil field, all houses light a torch in front of the entrance door of the house to prevent the explosion of residential houses. This bath was built by a person named late Motamedi during the Qajar era. The reason for naming this bath with this name is the presence of a huge oil field in that village.

In the past, the kerosene bath was a public bath that was used by the people of the village and had two separate sections for women and men. Today, this bathhouse is known as Ahvaz's historical monuments and has lost its past use.
