Firuzabad friday mosque

The city of Meibod, with its several thousand years old, is considered one of the commercial tourist cities of Yazd province, and every year many domestic and foreign tourists travel to Meibod in the form of Yazd tour and visit the historical attractions of this city. Firuzabad Mosque is one of the sights of Meybod, which is located in the center of the beautiful village of Firuzabad. When visiting the Firozabad Mosque, the first thing that catches your eye is the well-designed brick dome that dominates the view of this city. When you enter the Firozabad mosque, you will see a wooden inscription above the big gate, which is written in Nashq script. During your tour inside the mosque, on the left side of it, you will see a column with a tile plaque on it depicting Qasim's Lamentations. Above the mihrab of the Firuzabad Meybod Mosque, a summer porch has been built, where there is an inscription and with a mosaic tile that is separate from the mihrab, on which Quranic verses are engraved with a naskh script. It is interesting to know that under this inscription there is a piece of mosaic tile work, which dates back to the 9th century AH and is decorated with flowers and bushes. On both sides of the altar of the Firuzabad mosque, there are two beautiful suns made of mosaic tiles, which are very beautiful and eye-catching. A large number of books are kept in Firuzabad Mosque, from old Qurans to books of interpretation and other religious topics, which have been remembered from our ancestors. Beside Firuzabad Mosque, you can also visit other Meybod sights such as Jame Mosque, Mehrjard Castle, Narin Qale, Meybod Historical Glacier and Zilvi Museum. In the city of Meibod, apart from seeing the tourist attractions, we suggest you take souvenirs from this city, which include Zilu, straw hats, crucifixes, cedar motifs, and ropes, and enjoy the local and delicious foods of Meibod.
