Chehlsetun Palace of Isfahan is one of the historical buildings of Isfahan. The Forty Seton Palace, which has an area of more than 67,000 square meters, was built during the reign of Shah Abbas I, and a mansion was built in the middle of it. Shah Abbas I built a kiosk in the middle of the garden, which formed the initial core of the palace, which included the middle hall of the palace with forty pillars and its four corner pavilions. During the reign of Shah Abbas II, the building was completed and in the existing central building, general changes have been made, including the Hall of Mirrors, the Hall of 20 Columns, the two large rooms north and south of the Hall of Mirrors, the porches on the sides of the Kingdom Hall and the large pond in front of the hall with all the decorations of paintings and Mirroring and tiling of walls and ceilings have been added. At first, there were paintings instead of mirrors, but after the palace caught fire and when it was cleaned from soot, silver mirrors were used instead of mercury on part of the porch ceiling.

The central hall of the palace, which was reserved for foreign guests and personalities from other countries, contains paintings that express the historical events of different eras. This magnificent hall, which is based on an engraved dome, with colorful lattices and golden and transparent designs, is considered one of the artistic masterpieces of that era.
